About this Event
Amsterdam City Doughnut – commissioned by the Deputy Mayor – illustrates how embroiled northern cities are in inequality, exploitation, racism and extractivism.
Katherine Trebeck, Advocacy & Influencing Lead for the Wellbeing Economy Alliance, will set this work in context of a new economic framework and kick off roundtable discussions exploring a way out of the black hole of Coronavirus Pandemic + Financial Depression.

Katherine instigated the group of Wellbeing Economy Governments (WEGo) – which currently comprises Scotland, New Zealand, Iceland, and Wales – founded on the recognition that ‘development’ entails delivering human and ecological wellbeing. She developed Oxfam’s Humankind Index and led Oxfam’s work on a ‘human economy’.
