Survey – Exploring links between local and national environmental groups

Some of us went along to the ScottishEnvironment LINK (the forum for Scottish environmental NGOs) gathering in Birnam recently, where climate change was on the agenda. Delegates heard from Neilston Development Trust  about placemaking and the importance of having a vision for the community that draws together all the projects that are going on.

A workshop with Stop Climate Chaos, Suzy from Greener Kirkcaldy and Richard Dixon form  Friends of the Earth Scotland looked at how local NGOs could be working more effectively with local groups on climate change.

Scottish Environment LINK  has commissioned a study to explore the need and demand for improved communications between local communities and  environmental NGOs (such as SNH, RSPB, John Muir Trust etc).

The online survey is open ’til 19 December, so please spend a few mins now to invest in building future partnerships.

Please give 15-20 minutes of your time to complete this survey. Results will be reported on a non-attributable basis. The final report will be shared with all those who participate in due course.

Thank you!
