Scenario Planning workshop – 29 February Edinburgh

Can Scenario Planning help people come together to plan for the future?

Scottish Communities CAN and the James Hutton Institute invite you to an informative and exploratory one-day training and discussion session, where you will learn transferable skills on Scenario Planning that may assist your community in preparing for climate change and other future challenges.

The James Hutton Institute and Scottish Communities CAN are partners in the VSO-led project called “MAJI” (More Action for Just Initiatives for Climate Change Adaptation in Southern Africa). This is using Scenario Planning in Malawi as a way of enabling communities to proactively and collaboratively plan how to become more resilient and better able to face up to climate change. These experiences in Malawi can also offer relevant ideas for Scotland.

We may be able to provide subsidised travel for Scottish Communities CAN members to participate.
